   Hi there,

   I’m afraid your ‘contact me’ section doesn’t appear to be working so I’m messaging you here instead.

   I’m working on a food and travel television series about street food around the world. We’ll be making one episode about Taipei and I’d be very grateful for your advice regarding foods to feature and ‘foodies’ based in Taiwan who might be able to give our presenter a few tips and share some food with him.

   I’d love to hear from you if you can help in any way.

      Apologies! I’ve fixed the contact form, so that will be working in the future.

      I’m afraid I can’t help you. I don’t live in or near Taipei, so I’m not familiar with the “foodie scene” there. I’m sure there are plenty of other bloggers or people on Forumosa forums who would be able to help you.
      One of my favorite places to eat in Taipei is Dai’s House of Supreme Stink, featured on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern a few years ago. It’s not for everybody, but I really enjoy it.
